Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Godel Technologies Europe is engaged in development of business applications for major British companies, focusing on cloud platform engineering, automation, and DevSecOps.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Platform
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent hands-on experience
• Terraform Associate or demonstrable equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, security and governance features; DevSecOps mindset
• Experience building and supporting cloud platforms in regulated enterprise environments
• Scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash, Python preferred)
• Written and spoken English: intermediate or higher

Nice to have:

• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
• ITIL Foundation or knowledge of Service Management practices
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent AI coding assistants
• Ability to create custom skills and sub-agents and orchestrate multiple AI agents in parallel for concurrent task execution

• Design, build and support secure, scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Automate provisioning and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Design, automate and improve CI/CD pipelines, including integration of testing and security scanning tooling
• Perform platform change reviews to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met
• Provide L3 support for cloud platform incidents and coordinate escalation to vendors when needed
• Continuously improve platform efficiency, monitoring and reliability; participate in upgrades/patching with minimal impact on availability
• Maintain documentation and architectural standards; ensure adherence to regulatory and security policies
• Apply AI tools throughout the workflow: generation, refactoring, review, testing, and research
