QA Automation Engineer

• Many years of commercial experience as a developer or in testing applications with Web/Mobile/API test automation (optional)
• Very good knowledge of Java for creating test scripts and process automation
• Ability to work with CI/CD tools: GitLab, JFrog Artifactory
• Advanced knowledge of Git version control systems
• Experience with Gradle tools
• Practical knowledge of the software development process
• Experience in a testing environment based on the Agile Scrum methodology
• Ability to work with test support tools, e.g., Jira, TestFlo
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-team environment

Nice to have:

• Experience in building a testing platform
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven
• Knowledge or experience related to finance (knowledge of FX and trading platforms is welcome)
• Ability to work with Appium, Cucumber, Playwright
• Practical knowledge of REST Assured, gRPC

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities
• Participating in the selection of automated test architecture for existing and new functionalities, ensuring high standards are maintained within the organization
• Performing, checking results, and maintaining existing automated tests in various environments
• Analyzing documentation for testing purposes
• Creating reports on test activities performed
• Reporting and analyzing detected defects
• Performing manual tests of mobile and web applications or API tests
• Introducing good practices related to testing and optimizing testing processes
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge and experience
