Senior Software Engineer (Python + Robotics)

At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We build robots powered by AI, have them in production at scale impacting critical operations, and combine world-class research with top-notch engineering to solve real problems. The team includes professionals with experience from Google Warsaw, unicorn startups, Nvidia, and ByteDance.

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Technical leadership skills and experience
• Great problem solving skills
• Proficiency in one modern programming language (Python used at Nomagic)
• Experience designing complex, multilevel software systems
• Fluent communication in English

Robot control system development:

• Build modular and expandable control systems for robot actions adaptable to multiple customer use-cases

Integration:

• Design and deploy easy and efficient integration between Nomagic robots and warehouse systems

Robot skills expansion:

• Expand robot skills such as precise manipulation of items and anomaly detection (e.g., detecting if a robot picked more than one item or if an item is disassembling)

Deployment tools:

• Build tools to quickly deploy robots at customer sites

Tools and methodologies:

• Use Jira, Confluence, GIT, Agile
