Senior QA Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Higher education in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation or a similar senior role
• Experience in team management
• Very good knowledge of manual and automated testing throughout the software lifecycle, especially API testing
• Extensive experience in various test types: E2E, API, contract, performance, exploratory, and UI
• Practical experience with Python
• Good knowledge of Robot Framework
• Good understanding of microservice architecture
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience in creating test plans, strategies, test cases, and error analysis
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), especially Agile
• Ability to document test artifacts and reports
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD
• Experience working with AI tools
• Very good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to deeply understand the product, including the aviation domain
• Problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Ability to share knowledge through training, mentoring, and recommending tools and improvements

• Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and Software Architects in planning testing activities by analyzing requirements, technical specifications, and designing test plans and cases
• Implement test automation strategies for microservice architecture to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using standard tools and frameworks
• Conduct various types of tests: E2E, API, contract, and performance tests
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines in cooperation with DevOps teams
• Mentor and support other QA Engineers and promote best practices
