Senior Software QA / SDET

Our customer is building a cloud-native order management system for airlines that replaces legacy ticketing with a modern, e-commerce-driven "Offer & Order" ecosystem. The platform is high-scale, low-latency, capable of securely processing millions of global transactions, and integrates legacy systems with dynamic travel baskets.

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Automation QA Engineer / SDET
• Strong experience in Java, TestNG, and RestAssured
• Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and API testing (JSON/XML/gRPC)
• Experience with Postman, Bloom RPC, Bazel/Maven
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and full SDLC
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments with global team collaboration
• Familiarity with containerized environments (GKE/Docker) and cloud-native testing in GCP
• Experience in monorepo-based development and test frameworks
• Travel agency or airline domain experience is a strong advantage

• Design, implement, and maintain automated API test frameworks for cloud-native microservices in a monorepo environment
• Develop and execute automated tests for new and existing product features using BDD (Cucumber)
• Integrate automated tests into standardized CI/CD pipelines for regression and release testing
• Perform manual and automated testing; validate defect tickets and verify fixes
• Identify, diagnose, and work with development teams to resolve defects quickly
• Maintain technical test documentation and ensure the overall quality of test suites
• Lead test planning and execution for complex, API-driven platforms
• Monitor test execution and provide detailed quality and release readiness reports
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and update task status in Rally daily
• Provide on-call coverage and support post-implementation
