Golang Developer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Very good knowledge of idiomatic Go, project structures, testing best practices, and dependency management (minimum 3 years of experience)
• Practical experience in managing and debugging Kubernetes resources, using kubectl, and deploying applications with Helm or Kustomize
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API-first approach (REST, optionally GraphQL)
• Knowledge of Prometheus, OpenSearch, and tools for exposing metrics and logs
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Makefile, and automation of tests, linting, and deployments
• Proficient use of Git (pull requests, code review, teamwork)
• Experience working with REST APIs and their documentation
• Good command of English and ability to collaborate in distributed teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes control plane components and bare-metal deployments
• Creating Kubernetes operators and working with API and resources using client-go
• Certifications: CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
• Knowledge of container security or cloud security posture management (CSPM)
• Experience with cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack
• Knowledge of SQL / MariaDB (schema design and migration)

• Designing, creating, and maintaining software components operating in a cloud-native environment based on Kubernetes
• Implementing and developing infrastructure services and tools in Go language, following best practices and coding standards
• Automating deployment processes, monitoring, and system observability using tools such as GitHub Actions, Prometheus, OpenSearch, Helm
• Collaborating with a distributed team, participating in code reviews, API integrations, and optionally contributing to open-source projects
