Developer HD (Data Scientist / Machine Learning)

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or related position
• Higher education in data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, physics or related field
• Knowledge of quantitative methods including classification models, econometric models, and probability calculus
• Good knowledge of Python and/or 4GL and basic relational databases (SQL)
• Experience in creating and deploying production ML solutions, model testing, and working with data
• Analytical thinking, problem decomposition skills, and very good communication skills
• Willingness to share knowledge and promote good modeling practices
• English language proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAS Viya
• Knowledge of MLOps and data preparation from various sources
• Experience building machine learning models including time series and stochastic processes

• Build intelligent solutions supporting automation and optimization of business processes
• Develop and implement advanced statistical, econometric analyses and machine learning models
• Design and implement data structures (Data Marts) and reporting processes in data warehouse/BI environment
• Analyze business needs, design and test analytical solutions
• Develop and maintain data warehouse processes, including modeling and scoring solutions

Work location: hybrid (1-2 days per week at client office in Warsaw)
