• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Experience designing scalable backend systems
• Good written English (for documentation and communication)
• Native Ukrainian (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with non-relational databases (Cassandra, Redis/KeyDB, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with high-load or distributed systems

• Develop and maintain high-load backend services
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Take part in architectural decisions and technical discussions
• Optimize and evolve existing systems and tools
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with the team to define priorities and solutions
• Write clear technical documentation
