Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German | FS Consulting

FS Consulting at PwC Poland is a team of experts helping financial institutions and large corporations in Poland and beyond tackle risk management challenges including market and credit risk, operational risk, and regulatory compliance. The team works closely with PwC Germany’s Risk and Regulatory Practice, delivering consulting projects for Germany’s financial sector with opportunities for international collaboration and travel.

• Fluency in English and German (minimum C1 level).
• Some experience in Financial Services or Consulting through internships, projects, or training.
• Good understanding of the European regulatory environment and interest in industry updates.
• Completed or near completion of a degree in finance, business law, econometrics, or related fields.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for task automation, information analysis, and content generation.
• Proactive, organized work approach with strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Open, honest, and proactive communication style comfortable with multicultural teams.
• High motivation to learn, grow professionally, and engage with German team and clients.

Optional:

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, C, Python, SAS, R).
• Familiarity with CRR/CRD regulations and relevant EBA Guidelines.

• Work alongside experts on real projects for leading German banks and fintech companies to learn advanced risk management.
• Get trained in risk and capital related topics, risk and resolution planning, and cutting-edge risk techniques.
• Help clients optimize their risk and capital position and improve business results.
• Collaborate on creating and improving analytical tools for banking processes like risk-weighted asset calculations and reporting automation.
• Partner with PwC teams in Poland and Germany to gain international experience.
• Develop technical skills by working with programming languages such as SQL, Python, SAS, and R in risk management scenarios.
