Engineering Team Leader (Platform Android)

XTB is a global company from the financial industry, focusing on online trading of financial instruments. It is the largest FinTech in Poland and a leader in Central and Eastern Europe, operating in several countries including Asia and South America. The team creates tools and solutions enabling product teams to deliver business value faster, focusing on modular architecture, quality, scalability, maintainability, and modern Android technologies.

• Solid experience as an Android developer
• Several years as Senior Developer, Tech Lead, or Architect
• Experience in formal team management
• Practical experience with Native Kotlin
• Deep knowledge of modular architecture, Clean Architecture, and MVI/MVVM
• Practical application of Coroutines/Flow
• Experience building UI with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of scalability, performance, and reliability of mobile apps
• Participation in end-to-end projects from architecture design to production deployment (Google Play, CI/CD)
• Experience working with remote teams

Nice to have:

• Experience building internal Android developer community and running an Android Guild
• Experience with backend architecture and APIs (REST, gRPC)
• Knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG) in mobile apps
• Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment automation (GitLab CI, Bitrise)

• Monitor and manage technical debt
• Delegate tasks optimally within the team

Technical skills:

• Design architecture and implement complex mobile applications for Android
• Build Observability (Crashlytics, Analytics, etc.)
• Create automated tests aligned with the testing pyramid in mobile environment
• Apply good programming practices and design patterns
• Use AI tools in engineering and managerial work
