Senior Machine Learning Scientist

NASK SCIENCE, operating within NASK, conducts research and development in cybersecurity, computer science, and artificial intelligence. They develop innovative AI/ML decision modules for mobile device security and collaborate with CERT teams on AI-based solutions. They participate in European R&D projects, fostering knowledge exchange in international environments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence projects
• Advanced knowledge of basic machine learning algorithms
• Knowledge of advanced AI approaches (federated learning, domain adaptation, adversarial attacks, etc.)
• Knowledge and ability to apply good practices in ML system development
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Higher education in a technical field
• English language proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and scientific publications
• Advanced knowledge of Python and ML libraries (Tensorflow and/or Pytorch, numpy, scikit-learn, pandas)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity topics
• PhD in technical sciences (or in progress)

• Realization of AI/ML work in behavioral biometrics: from data analysis, model design, to validation and result analysis
• Collaboration with the production team in implementing work results
• Participation in conceptual work within other projects carried out by the team
• Monitoring the latest AI/ML publications in the context of cybersecurity
• Documenting research and development results
