Ironbird Creations is a development studio based in Krakow currently working on a fast-paced, combat-oriented and fully funded action-adventure game, Phantom Hellcat.


Wymagania

  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in the game industry as a Level Designer, Game Designer, or in a similar role
  • Participation in the development of at least one shipped title on PC or consoles
  • Strong knowledge of modern action-adventure games, TPP, and slasher genres with a focus on melee-combat, puzzles and exploration
  • Proven experience designing platforming challenges and levels that support meaningful backtracking
  • Very good knowledge of Unity 6 and hands-on experience working within the engine
  • Deep understanding of level design fundamentals, including player guidance and navigation readability, designing engaging platforming challenges using a wide set of player abilities, environmental storytelling, puzzle design based on player skills and progression
  • Strong understanding of gameplay pacing, including combat arenas, boss fights, and exploration segments

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Unity ProBuilder or similar blockout tools
  • Basic scripting skills (C# or visual scripting)
  • Experience with different game genres (e.g. action, puzzle, RPG)
  • Understanding of performance optimization in level design
  • Experience with playtesting and usability testing
  • Passion for games and strong sense of player experience

Obowiązki

  • Design and implement high-quality levels
  • Create engaging platforming challenges and puzzle solving areas
  • Design combat spaces, arenas, and boss fight areas that support melee-focused gameplay
  • Plan and balance gameplay pacing across exploration, platforming, combat encounters, and boss fights
  • Guide the player through levels using clear navigation, visual language, and player flow principles
  • Design and implement puzzles based on the main character’s abilities and progression
  • Iterate on levels based on playtesting, feedback, and technical constraints
  • Design game mechanics and write documentation

Oferta

  • Salary: 6000-11000 PLN DOE
  • Contract: B2B / Civil Law Contract
  • Flexible working hours
  • Remote work (CET time zone +/- 2h) or office space in Krakow
