Product Manager

Faria Education Group has over 15 years of experience in education, supporting over 10,000 schools and 4 million students across 155 countries. They provide an integrated SaaS solutions suite covering curriculum management (Atlas), teaching and learning (ManageBac), admissions (OpenApply), and school-to-home communications (SchoolsBuddy). They also offer online schools with IB Diploma and Cambridge courses through Pamoja and Wolsey Hall.

• Production experience in a Product Management team serving a scaled user base (100k+ users)
• Experience designing features, running product tests, and writing specifications (use cases, user stories, main and alternative flows)
• Good understanding of SaaS products
• Proven ability to ship complete features addressing customer jobs-to-be-done
• Good UX and design sense for Web and Mobile
• High level of communication between business stakeholders and the team
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Overall responsibility for JIRA and Confluence project organization
• Ensure rigorous and thorough QA and testing
• Coordinate PM team, developers, and QAs effectively
• Ability to manage conflict and high-stakes product releases or security incidents
• Strong understanding of modern tools like AI
• Strong technical knowledge of data and integrations
• Proactive solutions balancing customer needs with code complexity
• Judgment and evaluation of priority with a clear framework for product decisions
• Enforce disciplined processes (e.g., no Friday night deploys and roll-backs)
• Urgency, intensity, acuity, OCD perception, and sequential thinking for process management
• Proven leadership and product management skills
• Total understanding and clarity of the system
• Knowledge of team and areas of specialization among developers and PMs

• Understand the goals and business needs of the organization and recommend potential solutions
• Communicate and represent requirements to stakeholders throughout solution development
• Prepare documentation such as Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications
• Evaluate the value delivered by new and existing solutions
• Instruct, direct, and validate development work
• Manage product backlogs and versions according to Scrum methodology
