PHP Developer - AI-First Development (k/m)

Stowarzyszenie WIOSNA is one of the largest social organizations in Poland and the creator of initiatives such as Szlachetna Paczka and Akademia Przyszłości. For over 20 years, it has been building projects that significantly change people's lives on a national scale. The organization designs social solutions with clear strategy, efficient processes, and teams that understand their purpose, enabling projects to operate simultaneously in hundreds of locations across Poland. Each year, hundreds of thousands of volunteers, donors, and partners engage in helping, and the organization's role is to create conditions for this energy to translate into real social change.

Must Have:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in AI-First workflows using advanced tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Agent, or similar like Windsurf).
• At least 3 years of commercial PHP experience with OOP, good practices, and Symfony or a related framework.
• Proficiency in working with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of OWASP standards and attention to web application security.
• Engineering approach with independence in problem-solving and a natural desire to improve surrounding code.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js).

AI-First Development:

• Support the evolution of AI-First by optimizing workflows with AI agents (e.g., effective prompting in IDE, intelligent automation of documentation and tests).
• Share proven patterns to make coding with large language models faster, safer, and more thoughtful.
• Modernize backend systems using AI for smart refactoring and development.
• Explore new opportunities where AI can relieve tedious tasks or enable new user features.

Development Tasks:

• Design and implement new functionalities in PHP (Symfony).
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and key backend systems.
• Ensure the highest quality and security of code, collaborating with Securitum.
• Actively participate in code reviews and continuously raise engineering standards.

Tools and Methodologies:

• Use Jira, Confluence, GitHub, GIT.
• Work within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
