Senior iOS Engineer

Roche is a healthcare company involved in products such as mySugr®, Accu-Chek®, and navify®. The role is based in Warsaw or Poznan with a hybrid work model requiring office presence about two days per week. The company focuses on personalized healthcare and innovation in the diabetes and regulated health industries.

• At least 5+ years of experience building native iOS apps
• Experience with SwiftUI and structured concurrency (async/await)
• Proven track record of building reliable, performant, scalable, and understandable solutions
• Empathy towards user experience and focus on accessibility, performance, and systemic solutions
• Experience writing tests to ensure high-quality software
• Experience working iteratively and maintaining live products
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Bonus skills: knowledge of diabetes or regulated health industries, background in Computer Science, familiarity with Functional Reactive Programming or App Extensions

• Write code and act as a role model for the development team
• Demonstrate experience in architectural and technical decision making
• Ensure high quality co-review of code
• Contribute technical knowledge for strategic product decisions
• Identify and drive improvements in product development process and infrastructure
• Work autonomously in an interdisciplinary team collaborating with designers, QA, and product owners
• Lead innovation on the iOS platform and guide development efforts
