Software Engineer

EazyStock is a “startup” within Syncron, a global market leading company developing solutions for after market service optimization.

Whilst Syncron’s client base is made up of large enterprises (e.g. Manitowoc, Mazda, DTNA and JCB), EazyStock works with small to medium-sized companies, helping them to optimize their inventories and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction without having excess capital tied up in redundant inventory.

EazyStock is an entrepreneurial and international team operating in Europe, Asia and the USA, developing and selling the best cloud-based inventory optimization software solution on the market.

• Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a professional software development.
• Experience with RESTful web-services, Spring Boot and Angular.
• Experience with a variety of database systems, both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL.
• Ability to contribute to software design discussions and make decisions that balance functionality, usability, and performance.
• Experience in using version control systems and CI/CD.
• Understanding of best practices in software development, including code review processes and agile methodologies.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills in English – both spoken and written.

Nice to have:

• Experience building cloud-hosted services, preferably on AWS.
• Experience building solutions that contain AI-powered features.

• Join the EazyStock engineering team and work closely with Quality Engineers, Product Owner and User Experience Designer.
• Independently or in collaboration with a team, refine and implement user stories and technical tasks.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems requiring short investigations.
• Perform thorough code reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient code.
• Decide on the need for different types of tests for the implemented tasks.
• Create standalone pieces of technical documentation, including code documentation, tutorials and release documentation.
