Windows, Unix & VM Lead

The role involves managing complex server environments and ensuring high-performance, secure infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms in a fast-paced, global environment.

• Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and AIX administration, including system hardening (CIS), patch management, and OS lifecycle control
• Strong experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V), clustering, and high availability design
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), IAM, and secure system administration
• Experience with Linux/AIX identity integration using SSSD, PAM, and Kerberos, plus secure access via SSH keys
• Strong performance troubleshooting skills using tools such as perfmon, event logs, and IOPS analysis
• Knowledge of TLS/PKI, certificate management, and secure service configuration
• Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Familiarity with endpoint security (EDR), OS migrations, and EOL remediation strategies
• Strong documentation, CMDB management, leadership, and mentoring skills

• Provide L3 leadership and support for Windows Server, Linux, and AIX environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security across data centers and cloud platforms
• Manage full server lifecycle activities including deployment, patching, upgrades, decommissioning, and migration of legacy systems
• Oversee and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V) including clustering, high availability, and performance tuning
• Drive server consolidation, capacity planning, automation, and SRE-aligned improvements
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, security governance, audit requirements, and remediation of findings
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including backup strategies and failover testing
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers to ensure delivery excellence
• Maintain accurate documentation, CMDB records, and operational runbooks
• Mentor L2 teams and manage escalation processes effectively
