Senior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit, strong, long, and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime, anywhere.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join the Platform team, responsible for designing and evolving next-generation CI/CD platforms used by hundreds of engineers across the organization. Your work will directly impact how fast, safely, and reliably products are built and delivered across a diverse technology landscape — from IoT and firmware to web, mobile, backend, data, and machine learning systems.

This is a senior, hands-on role with strong technical leadership expectations. You’ll influence platform strategy, guide engineering teams in adopting modern CI/CD solutions, and help scale developer infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of daily builds and deployments.

Stack: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Artifactory, Kubernetes, AWS

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles
• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Solid understanding of containerized environments and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Practical experience with at least one high-level programming language (Kotlin, Go, or Python)
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD ecosystems and build tooling
• Strong focus on improving developer experience and productivity
• Pragmatic approach to engineering, with a deep understanding of trade-offs
• Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams
• Comfortable challenging ideas, making compromises, and driving alignment

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting diverse engineering domains (backend, frontend, mobile, data, IoT) is a strong plus

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD platforms capable of handling high build and deployment volumes
• Architect and support systems using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, and Artifactory
• Ensure reliability, extensibility, and security of developer tooling
• Act as a technical leader within the team, promoting a strong platform-thinking mindset
• Influence technology investments and architectural decisions across partner teams
• Support peers in design reviews, execution planning, and complex problem-solving
• Continuously improve self-service infrastructure and automation tooling
• Partner with internal teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize build and delivery workflows
• Advocate for best-in-class developer experience across the organization
• Promote best practices in architecture, testing, documentation, and agile delivery
• Review platform designs, technical decisions, and code to ensure high quality and scalability
• Contribute to planning and execution of long-term technology roadmaps
