Team Lead / Cloud Solution Architect (AWS)

ESET is a company working on the ESET XDR platform, a system processing large volumes of security data for enterprise customers. The team is primarily based in Kraków (Poland), with members in Brno (Czechia), and collaborates with HQ in Bratislava (Slovakia).

• Experience leading a technical team or strong senior ready to step up
• Solid experience with AWS and cloud architecture design
• Ability to design and operate distributed systems
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. C#, Python)
• Good understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, high availability, and security principles
• Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration
• English proficiency for daily communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Experience with high-throughput / data ingestion systems
• Polish language skills (B2+)

• Lead a team of 7 engineers (mentoring, feedback, growth)
• Act as a technical authority for AWS infrastructure and services
• Design and review cloud architecture focusing on scalability, reliability, and security
• Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders on priorities and delivery
• Improve engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, and automation
• Stay hands-on when needed (code reviews, debugging, unblocking the team)
