DevOps Engineer (Platform Team - Customer APIs)

The Customer APIs team at Tesco Technology Poland builds high-scale, high-performance services powering customer profile data across Tesco. They design secure, reliable, and efficient APIs supporting retail journeys and personalized communication, creating a common infrastructural backbone for the area.

• 4+ years of commercial experience building continuous integration and delivery solutions
• Experience running and supporting software in production using DevOps practices
• Experience with Azure cloud platform
• Strong problem-solving, analysis, and system design skills
• Ownership of problem resolution
• Experience designing and developing systems for high availability and scalability
• Awareness and willingness to work on cross-area security initiatives
• Experience in e-commerce or at-scale business valuing security, availability, and reliability
• Professional software engineering experience covering full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations

• Focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Work with other teams to move towards a common infrastructure
• Write, review, and contribute clean code
• Contribute to defining features for the common infrastructure used by over 50 engineers
• Communicate and collaborate with teams to support cross-area infrastructure changes
• Mentor team members and assist with hiring

This role requires candidates to be based in or near Kraków, Poland, as 60% of the workweek (3 days) is spent collaborating onsite at office locations or local sites, with the remainder remote.
