Senior Java Developer (+React)

Devire Outsourcing IT is a collaboration model dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), executing projects for clients running innovative and modern projects. The client is one of the largest banks in Poland.

• Knowledge of frontend technologies, especially React
• Experience in building web applications with conversational elements (chat), including streaming responses, conversation history, user feedback, and source presentation
• Experience in backend development using Java, including API service design and development
• Basic knowledge of BigQuery and SQL
• Ability to design ergonomic user interfaces for data work (tables, charts, drill-down, export results)
• Experience working in a team using Git, code review, quality standards, documentation, and tests (unit, integration, e2e)
• Experience in production environments, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and incident handling
• Willingness to collaborate with AI Engineers and data teams on integration and data work

• Designing and developing web applications on both frontend and backend layers
• Creating and developing API services in Java technology
• Building and developing conversational analytics solutions (chat with data)
• Collaborating with AI and data teams on integration (API, data formats, validations, cost constraints)
• Designing ergonomic user interfaces for data presentation (tables, charts, drill-down, export of results)
• Participating in building and developing Data Lake and data warehouse (DWH) processes
• Creating data flows (online and offline) in on-premise and GCP environments
• Optimizing SQL queries on relational and warehouse databases
• Creating data loading solutions for structured and unstructured data
• Developing concepts and implementing solutions according to business requirements
• Participating in resolving incidents and production issues
• Supporting testing and deployment of changes in data feeding processes
• Maintaining and servicing deployed software
• Working according to the DevSecOps model
