Data Platform Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT is a cooperation form dedicated to IT specialists based on their own business activity - B2B, implementing projects for clients conducting innovative and modern projects. The client operates in the telecommunications industry.

• Very good knowledge of Python (used for building all internal applications)
• Experience in data engineering or with analytical platforms
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting)
• Practical experience with Helm and Docker
• Experience working with Git-based workflows (GitLab)
• Solid knowledge of Linux-based environments
• Ability to work at the intersection of development and infrastructure
• Good communication skills and a sense of responsibility for the assigned area

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spark and/or HDFS
• Knowledge of SQL engines such as Trino
• Experience in production maintenance of open source data-related tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices for platform teams

• Development, deployment, and maintenance of an internal data and analytics platform running on Kubernetes
• Integration and maintenance of open source tools supporting analytics, experimentation, and ML workflows
• Creation and development of internal services and tools in Python
• Managing deployments using Helm, Docker, GitLab, and ArgoCD
• Supporting and developing tools used by analysts and data scientists
• Ensuring platform stability, scalability, and security
• Collaboration with data, analytics, and infrastructure teams
