Site Reliability Engineer

The Evidence and Devices Engineering team at Motorola Solutions Systems Polska is responsible for body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software used in public safety and enterprise applications worldwide.

• BS in Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Incident Response in Enterprise Environments.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications using Azure and AWS.
• Experience developing REST-based APIs and implementing microservice architectures.
• Experience with modern DevOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with high-availability architecture design.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and automated testing.
• Creativity and persistence in solving complex problems.
• Enthusiasm for learning key technologies, architectures, processes, and best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with REST API.

• Diagnose complex, intermittent, and high-impact issues using research and troubleshooting tools in live production environments.
• Analyze application source code (Java/Angular) to identify and fix memory leaks, race conditions, or inefficient logic.
• Design infrastructure for resilience by identifying single points of failure and implementing redundancy and auto-recovery.
• Develop internal tooling to automate problem-solving and empower engineers to self-serve.
• Participate in on-call rotation responding to major outages.
• Optimize system performance including database queries, application thread pools, kernel parameters, and network stack configurations.
