DevSecOps Engineer

Scalo is involved in developing solutions in mobile and digital banking, working in a modern environment including GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitOps.

• 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role in Cloud/DevSecOps/Platform Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, autoscaling, and security
• Practical experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD
• Proficiency in Linux environments and cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Knowledge of observability concepts
• Understanding of production maintenance for applications and ML/LLM models including availability, latency, rollbacks, and versioning
• Understanding of security, IAM, networking, and compliance in regulated organizations
• Ability to design long-term solutions rather than only operational responses

• Participation in the development of solutions in mobile and digital banking using GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitOps
• Leading and developing the Cloud DevSecOps/SRE team supporting cloud applications, mainly in AI, MLOps, and Data
• Building and standardizing CI/CD and GitOps processes using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD
• Developing and maintaining Kubernetes environments (Anthos, OCP, Istio, Helm)
• Developing a platform for rapid and repeatable cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Close collaboration with Developers and Architects
• Ensuring security, data access, and compliance (IAM, network, secrets, auditability) in a regulated environment
• Ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability of the platform hosting critical AI services used across the Bank
• Mentoring the Cloud DevOps team and development team
• Developing Cloud Native and Platform Engineering competencies
• Proposing new technologies and improvements in observability, automation, cost optimization (FinOps), and AI platforms
• Working in a hybrid model with monthly meetings at the client office in Warsaw
