Engineering Manager (k/m) [184 - 208 zł/h netto +VAT]

Deviniti is a company developing proprietary plugins/extensions for Jira and other Atlassian products, which are distributed on the Atlassian Marketplace. The Engineering Manager will join the Atlassian Apps unit, working within an engineering department composed of Developers, QE, and Engineering Managers across multiple product teams.

• Experience as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead for at least 2–3 years.
• Strong technical background with understanding of developers' daily challenges.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with team work management tools such as Jira or similar.
• Experience conducting recruitment processes and onboarding.
• Very good command of English (B2/C1 level).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience in SaaS/product environments.
• Familiarity with engineering metrics (DORA, cycle time, deployment frequency).
• Experience with AI tools supporting team work.

• Manage and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate team work in sprints and quarterly cycles.
• Support developers' technical and professional growth through one-on-one meetings, feedback, and career path development.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on backlog prioritization and dependency management.
• Ensure predictability of delivery by identifying and removing obstacles.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Work with other Engineering Managers to build consistent engineering practices.
• Engage in initiatives to improve the engineering department's work processes.

The recruitment process consists of 4 stages: CV verification, initial interview (~30 minutes), recruitment meetings including skills assessment (~1 to 1.5 hours), and a cooperation decision communicated within two weeks after the meetings.
