Software Engineer Mid+ (Backend)

Morele is a leader in the Polish e-commerce market in the segment of consumer electronics distribution (computers, laptops, computer components, RTV, AGD). It is an e-commerce platform aggregating D2C brands in Poland and expanding to foreign markets. The team works on developing and maintaining advanced e-commerce systems impacting the company's profits, including PHP developers, QA specialists, Scrum Master, and Product Owner.

• Strong technical background with at least 3 years of commercial programming experience.
• Ability to solve complex programming problems with clear and optimal implementations.
• Very good knowledge of PHP 7.x, 8.x and PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony).
• Good understanding and experience with relational databases.
• Communicative English language skills.
• Experience working with queue systems.
• Care for code quality and readability.
• Proficient in writing unit and acceptance tests.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools in programming and understanding of AI models used for prompt engineering.
• Enjoy teamwork, proposing solutions, and active participation in team discussions.
• Broad thinking about problems in a complex ecosystem involving various languages, tools, and services for effective system integration.

Nice to have:

• Commercial experience with DDD and Event Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker as a developer tool.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Programming skills in JavaScript (React.js or Vue.js appreciated).

• Modeling, building, extending, and maintaining APIs and services considering organizational strategy and technological environment.
• Close collaboration with target clients from idea to implementation, favoring dynamic, short business meetings for quick information flow.
• Cooperation with other teams based on API contracts or event streams.
• Sharing knowledge and experience with team members.
• Analyzing system load, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve platform stability and performance.
• Refining business requirements, estimating complexity, and planning solution architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Working on large-scale systems with event-driven architecture and event distribution based on queue systems.
• Collaborating in two-week iterations with a dedicated Product Owner and Scrum Master ensuring process correctness.
