Senior Back End JS Developer

Ciklum is a custom product engineering company supporting multinational organizations and scaling startups with a global team of over 4,000 developers, consultants, analysts, and product owners. The role involves working directly with Trustpilot, the world's largest independent consumer review platform with over 300 million reviews and 64 million monthly active users, aiming to foster transparency and improvement.

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a deep focus on backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of event-driven and microservice architectures, specifically using the Serverless Framework.
• Proficiency with NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Docker, and orchestration tools like ECS and Kubernetes.

Desirable:

• Experience integrating AI/ML models or working with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services, specifically BigQuery and Pub/Sub.

• Work as part of a cross-functional development team fully integrated into Trustpilot's feature team.
• Participate in a "full ownership" squad with influence on project direction and technological choices.
• Collaborate alongside Product, Design, and Data Science teams owning product and codebase end-to-end.
• Participate in all lifecycle stages: ideation, design, architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive technical decision-making and build scalable backend services and high-volume data processing solutions for fraud detection using TypeScript.
• Build and maintain secure, distributed cloud services within an event-driven microservices architecture.
• Focus on backend stability and scalability.
• Support, coach, and inspire colleagues with technical expertise and problem-solving mindset.
