Software Engineering Manager - Public Safety

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska is involved in developing mission-critical Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software used by public safety professionals and first responders to coordinate rescues and dispatch help.

• 2+ years of proven experience leading, mentoring, and growing software development teams.
• Practical, hands-on experience programming large-scale systems and developing moderately complex software architectures.
• Deep, comprehensive understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Autonomous problem solver who thrives under minimal supervision and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
• Team player who fosters a culture of trust and collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience managing the complete end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Cloud engineering expertise, specifically developing scalable applications using public cloud platforms like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Lead and inspire engineering teams by acting as a dedicated mentor and coach to promote outstanding leadership.
• Architect the future by defining complex engineering requirements and shaping the overarching software architecture.
• Drive the process by establishing, refining, and championing engineering best practices, and taking ownership of planning and delivering crucial team milestones.
• Communicate and collaborate as the technical key figure to align the team and stakeholders around shared goals.
• Manage Scrum teams to develop new features and maintain robust, high-stakes software systems.
