Lead Product Designer - AirHelp Mobile App

AirHelp is a global tech company on a mission to improve the travel experience by helping passengers track flights, stay informed about disruptions, and claim compensation. Founded in 2013, it has assisted over 3 million passengers and protects over 12 million travelers through its membership program AirHelp+. The company has a global team of over 400 employees speaking 19 languages and advocates for fair air passenger rights.

• Experience building and shipping mobile products end-to-end with strong mobile UX understanding.
• Ability to scale quality through strong design systems.
• Operate at the intersection of product thinking and design leadership with a clear point of view.
• Think like a product leader, focusing on the right problems and connecting user needs with business impact.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and taking ownership.
• Use AI tools to explore ideas, validate directions, and accelerate workflow.
• Exceptional communication skills to align teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers, including distributed or external teams.
• High bar for quality with strong judgment on when to refine and when to ship.
• Fluent in business English.

• Own AirHelp mobile app product design end-to-end, from problem definition through shipped outcomes and iteration.
• Operate with a hypothesis-driven mindset: frame problems clearly, align quickly, and move fast into testing and learning.
• Prototype early using AI tools (Cursor, Claude), building real flows instead of static mocks.
• Validate through real usage by talking to users, running quick tests, and using data to adjust direction.
• Translate validated ideas into production-ready design with attention to clarity, edge cases, and system alignment.
• Balance speed and craft: explore quickly, then refine in Figma to deliver polished, scalable solutions.
• Own both day-to-day improvements and larger strategic initiatives, balancing priorities based on business needs.
• Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities and leading initiatives from concept to execution.
• Raise the bar for design through systems thinking, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.

This role is based in one of the offices: Barcelona, Berlin, Kraków, Warszawa, or Gdańsk, with a hybrid setup requiring 2 days per week in the office.
