Low-Code Automation Engineer - Freelance AI Trainer

Mindrift connects specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators. The Tendem project focuses on building robust automation workflows within a hybrid AI and human environment.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in low-code/no-code automation, workflow development, or software development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields is a plus.
• Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats (JSON or similar) within automation platforms.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex workflows across multiple SaaS tools and systems using low-code solutions.
• Solid experience connecting and synchronizing data across platforms (Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion or similar).
• Experience building reliable automation workflows with proper error handling, retries, logging, and validation mechanisms.
• Demonstrated experience building scalable, fault-tolerant automation workflows across multiple tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of API limitations within automation tools (rate limits, pagination, authentication) and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working with real-time vs. scheduled (batch) automation workflows and selecting appropriate approaches.
• Experience automating communication systems (email, messaging APIs, outreach workflows).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workflow reliability and consistency.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows independently.
• Portfolio or examples of advanced automation workflows or low-code projects is a plus.
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above.

• Design and evaluate complex automation workflows across business tools and platforms.
• Build and optimize workflows using low-code platforms (Make.com, n8n), APIs, webhooks, and event-based logic.
• Implement custom JavaScript within automation tools to handle advanced logic, transformations, and edge cases.
• Connect and synchronize data across platforms (Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion, CRMs, or similar systems).
• Ensure reliable execution of workflows with proper error handling, logging, and fallback mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and improve automation performance, reduce failures, and optimize efficiency.
• Support automation of communication and operational workflows (e.g., messaging, outreach, notifications).
