5G Core Software Architect

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications company with 30 years of experience providing comprehensive telecommunications services across Poland for operators, businesses, and the public sector. The company operates over 23,800 km of network and engages in R&D activities in ICT, developing proprietary network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - proprietary anti-DDoS). EXATEL also provides external client support in SOC and satellite communication services based on its own teleport.

• Experience working with 4G/5G mobile networks, especially in EPC/5GC.
• Practical knowledge of 5G CN functions (AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, PCF) and 3GPP standards.
• Understanding of radio access network (RAN) architecture and RAN–CORE integration.
• Knowledge of NFV, virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native environments.
• Experience cooperating with technical teams and telecommunications solution providers.
• Ability to create technical documentation and business-technical analyses.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Private 5G / campus 5G networks projects.
• Knowledge in security, business continuity, HA/DR in mobile environments.
• Familiarity with SDN/SD-WAN technologies or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Industry certifications (mobile networks, IP, cloud, security).

• Designing, planning, and developing Private 5G networks in the Core Network (CN) area.
• Defining and agreeing on key functional and technical requirements for 5G solutions.
• Comprehensive planning of 5G core network (5G CN) architecture.
• Analyzing technology development and trends in radio access networks and 5G CN.
• Collaborating with technical teams and external suppliers (vendors, integrators).
