Senior/Lead Level Designer

Garage Monkeys S.A. is a small independent financially self-sufficient team of enthusiasts who created Car Dealer Simulator and plan to continue supporting and developing the project.

• Minimum three years of experience in a similar position
• At least one completed and released project in portfolio
• Knowledge of lighting and composition processes
• Ability to create playable, interactive, and aesthetic levels
• Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 (World Partition, Nanite, Lumen, Material Graph)
• Good knowledge of Blueprint system
• Independence and organizational skills for own work and the Level Designers team
• Experience in product/asset optimization
• Well-developed problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of PCG and procedural systems in UE5
• Knowledge of Blender
• Knowledge of SVN version control system
• Knowledge of game market and current trends
• Knowledge of materials and shaders

• Creating and developing level projects, interactions, and gameplay in Unreal Engine 5 environment
• Prototyping and testing gameplay solutions in UE5
• Designing clear, engaging, and balanced player spaces
• Optimizing levels for performance and gameplay
• Optimizing assets (AutoLoD, etc.)
• Making corrections in materials and textures (Substance etc.)
• Collaborating with producers, designers, and programmers
• Communicating with team members regarding planned work
