The STP Lending Manager application is a brand‑new greenfield initiative in its early stages, backed by a dedicated and highly engaged business team. The project focuses on building a robust and scalable Java platform using Spring Boot, integrating with multiple systems through REST APIs and Kafka-based event streaming, playing a central role in the wider lending ecosystem.

• Must-have knowledge and experience:
  • Java 21+ with 8+ years of experience
  • Spring Boot with 8+ years of experience
  • JPA with 8+ years of experience
  • Maven
  • Liquibase for database change versioning

Nice to have:

• Cucumber for testing

• Build a robust and scalable Java backend platform using Spring Boot
• Integrate the solution with multiple surrounding systems through REST APIs and Kafka-based event streaming
• Use JPA for persistence with emphasis on clean architecture, maintainable code, and clear ownership
• Collaborate closely with Business SMEs and the Product Owner in an Agile setup
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality

The primary working language is English. The role is based in Gdańsk, Poland, with no remote work option.
