SQL Validation Consultant

A leading global company in the tobacco industry, operating across more than 180 countries with tens of thousands of employees worldwide and headquarters in North America.

• Basic MS SQL skills: ability to read and run SQL queries in SSMS.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow execution instructions precisely.
• Good documentation skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills (clear notes, screenshots, and runbooks).
• Experience with ticketing/workflow tools (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Ability to work in structured environments (Test/Prod separation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Optional requirements:

• Basic knowledge of stored procedures, views, and parameters.
• Familiarity with data validation or QA processes.
• Experience with Confluence or similar documentation tools.
• Comfort working with distributed teams.
• 4 years of experience in a similar position.

• Execute predefined MS SQL queries in test and production environments.
• Perform minor modifications to existing queries.
• Validate query results and ensure data accuracy.
• Document executed steps, results, and any issues encountered.
• Follow established change management and approval processes.
