Backend Developer (Java)

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software House solutions for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development (Java)
• Very good knowledge of Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.x in building production systems
• Experience in designing REST APIs (OpenAPI) and system integrations
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronicity, and distributed systems
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience in testing (unit and integration) and code quality care
• Experience working with production systems (monitoring, logging, troubleshooting)
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven or similar)
• Knowledge of Docker
• Knowledge of security topics (Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT)
• English language proficiency (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Node.js / TypeScript
• Experience in testing in Node.js environment (e.g., Jest, Vitest)
• Knowledge of observability tools

• Development and maintenance of backend services (Java 21, Spring Boot)
• Designing and developing APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
• Working with event-driven architecture (asynchronicity, messaging)
• Participating in production system maintenance (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization)
• Collaborating with technical teams (frontend, architects, DevOps) in platform development
