Junior 3D Environment Artist

Qualqore provides QA and game testing services for game development and digital products. We support projects across mobile, PC, and web, helping teams deliver stable, high-quality user experiences.

Our expertise includes manual and automated testing, functional and regression testing, performance testing, as well as usability and UX analysis.

With 6+ years of experience, multiple testing approaches, and support across key platforms, we work with game studios, app developers, and product teams across gaming, mobile, web, SaaS, and enterprise software.

• A relevant higher education or at least 1 year of experience as a 3D artist
• Basic understanding of the following processes:
• Low-poly and high-poly creation (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, 3dMAx)
• Understanding of the PBR pipeline
• UV mapping
• Baking maps such as normal and AO
• Texturing in Substance Painter
• Experience working with artists, designers, and technical specialists
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Readiness to learn new tools and technologies
• Proactive, independent, and curious
• Language: English, Russian (one of the following)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity
• Strong, high-quality portfolio
• Advanced knowledge of ZBrush
• Basic knowledge of level art and lighting
• Experience in game development companies

• Creating photorealistic assets that meet the standards of modern AAA projects
• Preparing assets for game engines and ensuring they run correctly in real time
• Working closely with technical artists and game designers
• Creating and configuring materials, tiles, and decals
• Working with high-poly photogrammetric objects
• Performance optimization and bug fixing
