Junior Business Analyst

We're recruiting for a global company from banking sector.

As a Junior Business Analyst you will contribute to onboarding or change of processes and operational work-flows for internal or client driven projects within Securities Services Operations (SSO) Change Department.

This role is critical in helping to shape and drive process and technology change across the Middle Office business. Role requires strong analytical skillset in order to design, test and validate complex solutions and services for our clients and operational teams. Communication and networking skills are essential to effectively cooperate with multiple stakeholders on various seniority levels across Product, Technology, Operations and our Clients.

• At least 1 year of experience with operational improvements in financial institutions (e.g. Lean, reengineering programs)
• Basic knowledge of MS Visio, PowerBI, and SQL
• Very good command of spoken and written English (at least at B2 level)
• Sound understanding of the financial market
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working with external clients within Securities Services operations

• Perform process analysis and design solutions in response to client or operational needs
• Deliver comprehensive business requirements, prepare testing scripts, and execute testing activities
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and clients
• Proactively escalate potential risks related to assigned projects
• Challenge the status quo and propose innovative improvements
• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring operational issues
• Resolve ad-hoc queries from internal teams or clients
• Contribute to project plan creation
• Display active involvement in team-level initiatives
