AI Lead, C++ Ecosystem

JetBrains is a company focused on building powerful and effective developer tools since 2000. The C++ Ecosystem team develops C++ support across CLion and IntelliJ IDEA and integrates AI capabilities into their products to stay at the forefront of AI-powered software development tooling.

• Substantial previous experience with C++ and leading a development team.
• Knowledge and interest in current AI technologies used in software development tooling.
• Proven record of impacting mature teams as an individual contributor or team lead.
• Proven track record of proposing and implementing radical solutions to complex technical issues without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse colleagues, including managers and peers.
• Clear understanding of product management and its role in the development life cycle.

• Lead an engineering team with diverse experience, focusing on integrating AI into existing products and developing new AI-powered solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, ML and QA engineers, stakeholders, and senior developers to shape and deliver the roadmap.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and participate in feature design.
• Refine team processes and culture to ensure smooth delivery and agility.
• Act as a coach, spending time on hands-on technical tasks and software architecture.
• Rapidly assimilate extensive technical information and dive deep into mature codebases.
• Coach team members on technical and soft skills, providing feedback for improvement.
