Wymagania
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience writing production-grade code
- At least 4 years designing backend systems and services
- Experience managing or formally mentoring engineers in a team environment
- Confidence supporting performance conversations and development planning
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience
- Solid cloud development experience, preferably AWS
- Deep understanding of core computer science concepts
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams
- Strong sense of ownership for both technical outcomes and team growth
Obowiązki
Technical:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering customer-facing applications
- Contribute to architectural discussions and implementation decisions alongside engineering leadership
- Review pull requests and help maintain strong engineering standards across the team
- Collaborate closely with product teams to shape practical and scalable implementations
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and drive technical improvements
- Promote strong engineering practices across testing, performance, and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
People Leadership:
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to backend engineers
- Line manage backend engineers, including regular 1:1s and performance development conversations
- Support career growth through coaching, feedback, and mentoring
- Help onboard new engineers and support their integration into the team
- Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner with engineering leadership on team planning, priorities, and capability development
