QA Automation Engineer

• At least 4 years in test automation with a solid history of developing test frameworks.
• At least 3 years of Java programming experience.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven.
• Experience testing REST APIs; proficiency with Rest Assured is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of client-server architecture and backend/frontend interaction patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and common test automation patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and technical documentation to develop test cases.
• Familiarity with using mocks and simulators to isolate system components during testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Technical leadership experience within a QA/automation team.

Nice to have:

• Experience in WebSocket, event-based testing, gaming servers, or reactive architectures.

• Build, develop, and maintain robust automated tests and test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven.
• Convert manual test cases and business scenarios into automated test scripts.
• Develop automated tests for UI and API layers covering functional and regression test cases.
• Build and maintain mocks for testing distributed systems and unavailable services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide detailed bug reports with reproduction steps.
• Collaborate on improving QA processes, tools, and testing strategy across squads or products.
• Work with different data sources such as APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases to validate test outcomes.
• Mentor and support other QA engineers in automation practices, code quality, and troubleshooting.
