Business Analyst

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to lead the functional definition and requirements governance for a high-stakes systems modernization project. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that complex transactional flows are compliant, scalable, and clearly defined within a heavily regulated framework.

• Extensive experience in business analysis for large-scale, multi-platform IT environments.
• Proven track record in sectors with high compliance oversight (e.g., Fintech, Banking, Transactional Systems, or similar).
• Expert-level ability to structure backlogs, map dependencies, and maintain rigorous documentation standards using JIRA.
• Skilled in mapping end-to-end user journeys, including complex error handling and edge cases.
• Experience working closely with Architects and Tech Leads to ensure functional requirements are technically viable and aligned with the system architecture.

• Requirements Lifecycle Management: Capture, consolidate, and formalize complex business and regulatory requirements. Maintain end-to-end traceability from source documentation to JIRA Epics and User Stories.
• Functional Architecture: Define complex logic, including calculation engines, pool management, replenishment rules, and multi-layered user journeys.
• Scope & Governance: Explicitly identify baseline vs. custom system behaviors. Manage "Option A" scope boundaries and oversee transitional requirements during coexistence with legacy infrastructures.
• Stakeholder Orchestration: Lead requirements workshops with internal Product, Architecture, and QA teams, as well as external third-party partners to drive functional convergence.
• Compliance Integration: Translate stringent regulatory obligations into actionable, testable functional requirements and measurable Acceptance Criteria.
• Delivery Alignment: Support the solution design phase by detailing process flows (e.g., identity verification, payment logic) and ensuring the "Definition of Done" is met across all deliverables.
