Developer (SQL & WMS) f/m

LSI Software S.A. develops proprietary WMS solutions used by clients in various industries in Poland and abroad. The company is involved in innovative technological projects in AI, process automation, and SaaS solutions.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with WMS systems (either as software provider or developer/analyst on the user side)
• Very good knowledge of MS SQL Server including advanced queries, stored procedures, functions, working with XML/JSON, and optimization
• Practical domain knowledge of WMS including warehouse processes: receiving, storage, picking/packing, replenishment, inventory, shipping, and returns handling
• Knowledge of WMS integration with warehouse automation devices (sorters, conveyors, PTL systems, label printers)
• Experience working with high-volume transactional data (warehouse movement history, stock in multiple locations)
• Independence, logical and analytical thinking, problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working on the software provider side (software house, WMS/ERP producer)
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP systems (integration views, message queues, API)
• Basic knowledge of C# or other languages in context of database layer cooperation
• Familiarity with tools: SVN/Git, Jira, Scrum methodology
• Experience with SQL Server monitoring and diagnostics

• Develop and optimize WMS product functionalities and warehouse processes at the database level
• Design, create, and maintain MS SQL database objects such as stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and SQL Agent jobs
• Optimize query performance, procedures, and data structures including indexes, execution plans, and statistics for client installations of varying scale and data volume
• Analyze requirements from clients and implementation consultants and translate them into database solutions
• Develop product integrations with external client systems (ERP, TMS, courier systems, warehouse automation) at the data layer
• Create technical documentation for the team and implementation consultants
