Platform Director (100% Remote within Poland)

Docplanner, formerly known as Znany Lekarz, is a healthcare technology company operating in 13 countries with over 90 million patients and 300k+ specialists using its platform. Docplanner Tech consists of over 400 people working in Engineering, Data, and Product teams responsible for building the product for all locations.

• Experience leading platform engineering at high-traffic scale (100M+ sessions, multi-region, cloud-native).
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and developer experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams through major architectural transitions without loss of speed or burnout.
• Experience shipping AI/ML in production with understanding of safe and scalable deployment.
• Commitment to high reliability standards (99.9%+ uptime).
• Experience building developer platforms that improve engineering productivity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product and experience teams.
• Experience attracting, developing, and retaining engineering talent.
• Knowledge of compliance, data residency, and localization at scale across multiple regions.

• Lead the global platform team and set the technical direction for building, deploying, and operating the platform.
• Manage a major architectural shift including modernizing the stack, consolidating legacy systems, and going AI-native across engineering.
• Build and scale a platform supporting a fast-changing product with 90M+ sessions a month across 8 countries.
• Make the engineering organization more productive through AI tooling, agents, and infrastructure.
• Maintain 99.9%+ uptime reliability as a minimum standard.
• Build developer platforms focusing on internal tooling, CI/CD, observability, and standards.
• Partner with product and experience teams to enhance speed and efficiency.
• Attract, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent.
• Operate across multiple regions and markets, managing compliance, data residency, and localization complexities.
