Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python/Node.js, React)

The client is a leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions headquartered in Chicago, connecting a network of insurance companies, repair facilities, parts suppliers, and data providers to enhance productivity and customer experience.

• 5+ years expertise in Python/Node.js and proven experience with modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js).
• Ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience in contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Deep understanding of API development, microservices, and system integration.
• Experience building secure and user-focused web interfaces with attention to UX patterns and best practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS) and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong sense of ownership, leadership mindset, and ability to guide other engineers.
• A collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving and communication in distributed teams.

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement new features and enhancements in a well-tested, maintainable, and efficient way.
• Collaborate with Product managers and UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
• Review, analyze, and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements, driving resolution of issues and bugs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, API design, and system integrations.
• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team by guiding design discussions, performing code reviews, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Participate in task estimation, prioritization, and planning in alignment with engineering processes.
