Azure Data Engineer

The Insights & Data team delivers state-of-the-art data solutions focusing on Cloud & Big Data engineering across platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. They manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle of data solutions, including programming in Python, Scala, or Java, and utilize DevOps tools and best practices. The AI Center of Excellence undertakes Data Science and Machine Learning projects in areas such as Generative AI, NLP, Anomaly Detection, and Computer Vision.

• At least 3 years of experience in Big Data or Cloud projects in processing and visualization of large and unstructured datasets across different SDLC phases
• Practical knowledge of Azure cloud in Storage, Compute (+Serverless), Networking, and DevOps areas with commercial project experience
• Theoretical Azure cloud knowledge supported with certificates such as DP-900, DP-200/201, AZ-204, AZ-400
• Familiarity with technologies including Data Lake Gen2, Event Hub, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DWH, API Azure, Azure Function, Power BI
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Java, or Bash
• Very good command of English; German language is an advantage

• Design and implementation of solutions processing large and unstructured datasets (Data Lake Architecture, Streaming Architecture)
• Implementation, optimization and testing of modern DWH/Big Data solutions based on Azure cloud platform and Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration environment
• Data processing efficiency improvement, migrations from on-prem to public cloud platforms
