• Identify Market Opportunities: Determine business strategies based on IBM's strengths and market opportunities, identifying target markets and opportunities based on user problems, trends, and market dynamics.
• Develop Product Vision: Build the product vision and roadmap, sell it to internal stakeholders, and drive prioritization and planning releases with engineering based on market facts.
• Translate Market Needs: Translate market needs to development plans based on a deep understanding of product portfolio capabilities, acting as a "product owner" for development teams.
• Assess Product Technology: Perform product technology assessments and benchmarks to ensure differentiation, determining scope and schedule for releases considering business requirements and technical debt.
• Collaborate with Engineering: Drive prioritization and plan releases with engineering based on market facts, ensuring effective collaboration and solution delivery.
• Create and deliver technical assets to demonstrate user experience and related offering value propositions.
