Software Engineering Intern (Infrastructure)

Relativity is a company offering a 3-month, paid, full-time Summer Internship starting July 2026 (or earlier) in Kraków. The internship is within the Orchestration Systems (OrchSys) team, focusing on internal automation ecosystem including infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD tooling, developer experience, and automation through Infrastructure as Code.

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Basic programming experience in Python, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with Linux or macOS command-line environments.
• Interest in DevOps engineering, cloud technologies, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and desire to improve engineering processes.
• Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.

Nice to have:

• Prior exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience writing small automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Interest in observability, dashboards, or metrics.

Infrastructure & Automation:

• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code concepts using tools such as Bicep and Pulumi.
• Support improvements to internal automation tooling for deploying, testing, and operating services.
• Contribute to lightweight automation scripts (Python, Bash, Powershell).

CI/CD & Developer Experience:

• Assist in updating or extending CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) under guidance.
• Work on internal tools and services used by developers, including APIs and Python microservices (FastAPI).
• Participate in proof-of-concept tasks to improve developer effectiveness.

Cloud, Containers & Observability:

• Gain hands-on exposure to Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tooling.
• Learn basics of monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and logging/metrics pipelines.
• Support efforts to increase standardization and reliability across internal systems.

Team Collaboration & Agile Work:

• Join a highly collaborative Scrum team.
• Participate in standups, planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
• Work with engineers to debug issues, improve documentation, and contribute to knowledge bases.
