Senior System Test Engineer

• BSc or MSc degree in IT, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area
• At least 5+ years of experience in Python testing
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks including Pytest and UI test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright)
• Experience with Linux systems, Bash, Git, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Network management skills, e.g. VLANs configuration, understanding of TCP/IP stack or communication protocols (e.g. SNMP, MPLS)
• Experience testing network management software is an advantage
• Experience with laboratory test equipment is an advantage
• Ability to work independently, solutions-oriented approach
• Willingness to learn and strong communication skills with spoken and written English

• Perform exploration tests and develop automated tests in Python
• Implement functional and non-functional tests
• Develop and automate test procedures and frameworks
• Create efficient test strategies and test infrastructure aligned with project goals and technical requirements
• Contribute to laboratory expansion by installing and configuring network equipment
• Collaborate with developers, quality experts, product owners, domain experts, and system architects
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements
• Create and maintain test documentation including test plans and test reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and tools
• Support adoption of QA best practices and mentor team members in test methodologies across SAFe/SCRUM R&D teams
• Focus on safety and integrity, taking responsibility for own actions while caring for colleagues and the business
