Test Leader

Join our Hitachi Energy Team to lead in the quality area for Mission Critical Communication systems. You as a Test Leader will have opportunity to assure quality for international projects working with interdisciplinary, talented teams for high reliable network solutions.

• BSc or MSc degree in IT, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area
• 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation (including Python)
• 3+ years of experience as a Team Leader
• Experience in Test Coordinator role
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks e.g. pytest, UI test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Linux systems, virtualization, containers, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure)
• Familiarity with Network management domain, e.g. VLANs configuration, understanding of TCP/IP stack or communication protocols (e.g., SNMP, MPLS), testing network management software is an advantage
• Experience with laboratory management is an advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Lead QA team members to assure E2E product quality – expand existing team, searching for talented experts
• Coordinate test activities as a Backlog Owner in System Test
• As a Test Manager define test strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements
• Create strategy and manage laboratory test setups to fulfill business needs
• Lead the development and automation of test procedures and frameworks
• Cooperate closely with QA managers, department leaders and cross-functional teams including developers, quality experts, DevOps, Product Owners, domain experts and system architects
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements
• Monitor and report on test progress and risks
• Define and adjust quality metrics
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools
• Support the adoption of QA best practices and mentor team members in test methodologies across SAFe/SCRUM R&D teams
