Full Stack Engineer with Angular for a Startup

CarSimple is an Irish automotive all-in-one digital platform for car management scheduled for launch in 2026. It connects motor dealers, underwriting capacity, and claims governance within a controlled, data-driven environment. This is a greenfield project with a small, tight-knit team of engineers and designers focused on simplicity, transparency, and impact. The startup environment offers freedom, a fast-moving pace, no bureaucracy, and full ownership of work in an agile setting.

• Strong expertise in Angular 14 or higher (components, RxJS, routing, state management)
• Hands-on approach, helping others proactively
• Independent mindset to take vague requirements, ask questions, and deliver working solutions
• Communication and risk awareness, speaking up early when unclear or risky

Nice to have:

• Linux as developer environment
• Experience with Spring Boot (REST APIs, dependency injection, security)
• Comfortable with Java 17
• Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database
• AWS basics (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront)
• Docker, Kubernetes

• Develop and maintain new features for the automotive platform, from UI to API
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, UX, and PO to shape the product
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and review teammates' work
• Integrate with existing dealer-facing systems and APIs
• Work across Angular, Spring, and AWS
• Help improve development processes, tooling, and code quality
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and informal tech discussions
